This stunning ensemble of chairs, crafted in France, is a beautiful embodiment of the Art Deco revival that swept through furniture design during the 1980s. The set features a striking combination of textures and colors - green and black, metal and leather - echoing the opulence and elegance that defined the original Art Deco movement of the 1920s and 1930s.
During the Art Deco revival in the 1980s, designers often drew inspiration from Art Deco’s distinctive features, like strong geometric forms and luxurious materials. While infusing these elements with the eclectic, playful energy of postmodern design of the time period of the 1980s. This dining set is a testament to that creative fusion, offering a timeless appeal that is both rooted in history and forward-thinking in design.
Kindly note that these items are in good, used condition. The leather of the seats shows a strong patina and the lacquer on the chairs shows signs of wear and use.
