Early English Queen Anne Style Red & Gilt Chinoiserie Dining Chairs -S/10
About the Item
This is a fabulous set of English Queen Anne style chinoiserie dining chairs.Each one is hand painted with a unique pastoral scene and gilt accents. Sadly two seats show wear, with one being significant. However, the seats are not attached which makes recovering a less arduous and costly task. They are beautiful and consist of two arms and eight sides. The sides measure 18.75”L x 19”W x 41”H. I am estimating the age to be approximately the 1940s. Note the gilt shell backs and leg detail!
