Stunning and elegant set of four Brutalist Tyrolean or Swiss Mountain chairs. Striking design from the Tyrol region of the Austrian, Swiss and Italian Alps. Solid oak hand-crafted frames which were built for the small alpine chalets. These chairs were part of daily life when gathering with family for meals, or sharing music and stories among friends. This wonderful set of four Brutalist Tyrolean or Swiss Mountain chairs is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. A real eye-catcher for your home or office. Our gallery is a family-owned and managed company which has been dedicated to dealing in 20th century Decorative Arts since it’s foundation in the late 1920s.
