About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely suite of four original RMS Queen Mary II dining chairs circa 1920's.
A truly stunning and highly collectable suite of dining chairs. The chairs came from the descendant of a former employee of the ship, he was charged with disposing of some of the furniture during a renovation in the 1960's, he chose to keep these four as a souvenir
I'm not sure where exactly they would have been used, they are fantastic quality so I can't imagine they would have been used on the second or third class decks, perhaps in a library or study
We have cleaned waxed and polished the timber from top to bottom, they have some normal age and use related patina marks in the timber as you would expect, the fabric is mostly in good order, there are some light marks here and there
