Striking set of four armchairs by Jan Kuypers for Imperial Contemporary of Canada. Constructed of solid birchwood with racing striped green silk and linen upholstered seats. Three slat open back with the back leg extending up to become the arm support. Designed by Dutch born Jan Kuypers who is now revered for his contributions to modern Canadian design. Seat height 19".
