- Condition:Refinished. Reupholstered. Rewoven. Minor fading. The chair's authentic surface was cleaned, the shellac finish restored. The seat's metal plate was cleaned and reused. Upholstery restored to its original state with horsehair and kapok. The silk damask and brass nails were meticulously recreated.
