About the Item
Very nice looking and strong Pair of very sturdy Marcel Breuer Italian Chrome and Birds eye woven cane seats and backs. These also Feature the built-in footrests.
Very nice looking and strong Pair of very sturdy Marcel Breuer Style Italian Chrome and Birds eye woven cane seats and backs. These also Feature the built-in footrests. MADE IN ITALY stamp on the bottom.
Very good vintage condition, and original vintage throughout. There are no holes in the caning. The seat backs on both are in fantastic shape, the seat on both are in tact. One seat caning is slightly warped, does not effect the seating. You can replace the caning on the seating easily, there are pre- woven seating templates available for purchase. Not needed now, but perhaps down the line for your consideration. The caning on the seats likely needs to be replaced at some point. There are no holes. The seat back on one of the chairs has a small part of the trim at the top that is imperfect. There is some minor rusting on the bottoms of the frames. Overall very good Italian Breuer chairs, very sturdy, Good Vintage condition.
