Very Rare Set of 6 1970s Lucite Dining Chairs
Signed by Lion In Frost
The original owner of these chairs said she went to the Lion In Frost New York facility and worked with one of their designers to design these chairs specifically for her, so they are one-of-a-kind.
Lion in Frost was a high-end furniture company founded by the American designer Max Kuehne in the 1960s. The company was based in New York and produced handcrafted furniture that was known for its modern aesthetic and innovative use of materials. Lion in Frost furniture was characterized by its use of acrylic and Lucite, which were often combined with other materials like brass, chrome, and glass. Kuehne's designs were known for their clean lines and geometric shapes, and his work was highly sought after by collectors and interior designers. Today, Lion in Frost pieces are considered collectibles and can be found in fine homes and museums around the world.

In good, structurally sound and sturdy condition. There are a few notable scratches on the upper part of the Lucite, and there are many scratches mostly near the bottom of the back foot where a vacuum and cleaning utensils normally hit.
