About the Item
Timeless elegant & exceptional set of 10 Louis XVI dining chairs having carved wood & caned bodies, beautifully hand painted in an antique soft white. The chairs have a refined and classic design with exquisite rounded backs in woven cane, a signature element of the Louis XVI style. The chairs came from a fine home in Princeton NJ, and were faux painted by the famous artist Nelson Shanks. Custom velvet seat cushions show some signs of wear.
