About the Item

Beautiful Italian ‘Medea’ chair designed by Vittorio Nobili for Fratelli Tagliabue in 1955. Molded teak wood seat supported by black steel legs, accented with brass hardware. A perfect representation of the organic modern style. The natural beauty of the wood grain is accentuated by its sculpted plywood form. First advertised in Domus Issue 329 in April 1955, they have become an iconic piece of mid century design and highly collectible. It is originally marked under the seat.
