This gorgeous "Prague" chair has recently undergone a partial restoration process featuring new leather upholstery. The solid maple frame and legs show patina throughout such as nicks, scratches and areas of discoloration in the woodgrain (all of which can be seen in the detail photos and natural light video provided). Overall the wood is in very good original condition and all joints are solid and structurally sound.
The seat has been recovered in a thick-cut genuine leather hide and shows only the wear of a once-living animal (scars, ranch-brands etc.) and featured new medium density foam for maximum comfort and longevity. The caning is also in excellent original shape showing no breaks or stains whatsoever.
This "Prague" chair is comfortable, structurally sound and ready for a lifetime more of use thanks to it's recent restoration. Condition Details: This exquisite desk/side chair designed by Benny Linden has recently undergone a partial restoration process that feature new upholstery. The solid teak frame is in 100% original, vintage condition and shows only minor signs of vintage wear such as light surface scratches and nicks but showing no stains, gouges or other damage whatsoever and the variegated woodgrains of the Burmese teak is absolutely mesmerizing in natural light.
The upholstery, redone in a fabulous, vintage-feeling heavy knit fabric, is in showroom condition and has never even been sat in. The cushions have been replaced with new, medium density foam for maximum comfort.
