Set of 4 Whimsical Chairs in Oak and Rush, Europe, 1950s.
This is a very delightful set of 4 chairs in solid oak and rush. These are littered with wonderful details like the carved backrest, the rounded finials, the rounded feet and the decoratively turned stretchers. All a little bit quirky and whimsical, but just the right amount. Very good and original condition with some nice wear on the wood and rush, due to age and use.
All in all a very decorative and fun set of quintessentially mid century dining chairs in solid oak and rush seats.
