Set of six French dining chairs from the late 1940's/early 1950's with modernist open floating back rest. White lacquered solid wood and steel sabots. Newly upholstered in purple micro suede with contrasting white piping.

The eleven room modernist apartment, designed by Taylor, was featured in Architectural Digest Volume XII Issue 4, 1950 (see images).
