About the Item
A set of six ‘Les Arcs’ chairs attributed to French architect Charlotte Perriand. Designed in the 1970s, these chairs feature tubular black metal frames with stitched cognac leather seats and backs, which attach to the frames with leather straps and metal hardware.
These chairs are documented in Charlotte Perriand: An Art of Living, McLeod, pg. 190-195 discuss Arc Mobilier Charlotte Perriand: A Life of Creation, Perriand, ppg. 113-125 detail constructing and furnishing Les Arcs.
Condition: Great vintage condition, with age-related wear to the patinated leather including staining, discoloration, and scratches. Minor scuffs along the metal frames.
