A rare set of 6 ‘Maxello’ dining chairs designed by Enzo Berti for Piarotto Mobili in the 1980s. These dining chairs are constructed from walnut plywood in a rich, cherry hue. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the seats and backs, composed of individual panels, merge seamlessly into a cohesive form, accentuating the natural warmth and beauty of the wood. The sculptural, curvilinear silhouettes are supported by rectangular legs and reflect the designer's dedication to expert craftsmanship. Maker’s mark stamped on backside. Italy, 1980s.
Condition: Great overall vintage condition. Very minimal marks and scuffs along the wood surface. Maker’s mark stamped on backside of leg.
