Set of 6 'Spanish' Chairs in Solid Oak, Leather and Brass, Europe, mid 20th century,
This is a stylish and distinct set of 6 dining chairs in solid oak, patinated leather and brass.
These chairs feature a very distinct and particular design after traditional antique Spanish chairs - a chair model widely known and loved - with the almost medieval styled base in solid wood, the heavy brass nails and the two lovely carved finials on top.
It is a set with a classical appeal and a very timeless elegance - and although being quite distinct also very usable in various interior design settings and styles. Would be great in a classical Spanish Revival style house, but could also work perfectly in interiors with a wabi sabi or brutalist approach.
The set comes in a good vintage condition with a very desirable patina on the leather and restored seat comfort underneath.
