Set of Eight 1920s Black Forest Dining Room Chairs with Hand-Carved Floral Décor
About the Item
A set of eight Black Forest dining room chairs from the early 20th century, with carved foliage décor and upholstery. Created during the first quarter of the 20th century, this set of dining room chairs features two arms with large scrolling accents and six side chairs. Each hand-carved with a flower on the upper rail surrounded by a frieze of foliage, the chairs are upholstered and accented with a brass nailhead trim. Raised on carved legs (saber in the back) connected to one another through an apron carved on all sides, this set of eight Black Forest chairs circa 1920 will bring a touch of rustic elegance to any dining room! The armchairs measure 24"W x 28"D x 43"H while the sides are 19.5"W x 21"D x 41"H.
