Set of Eight 19th Century Mahogany Dining Chairs

About the Item

A set of eight mahogany dining chairs in the Queen Anne style, consisting of six side chairs and two armchairs, the shaped central splat back with carved shell decoration flanked by curved uprights, the elegant shaped arm supports leading down to the drop in seat which has been recently reupholstered in a red fabric, with out swept legs at the rear and carved cabriole legs at the front terminating with a ball and claw foot. Circa 1890. Seat height is 48cms (19").
