Set of Eight 19th Century Venetian Chairs

About the Item

A stunning matched set of eight Venetian chairs dating to the mid-late 19th century. Wonderful oxidized paint and water gilt detailing to the chairs, with subtle brush work and a magnificent patina. The pale celadon color is just perfect. Most Venetian chairs I've sat in seemed too upright feeling while these sit very comfortably. Measurements are for the side chairs, arms are a little wider.
