About the Item
A particularly elegant and finely crafted set of chairs by Stuart Swan of Wellesley, Massachusetts. With two arm and six side chairs. The finely carved splats with open arch motifs flanked by leaves and ending in scrolls. The high cushioned seats upholstered in fine burgundy and tan cut velveteen. Raised on square legs, the back ones splayed, all with square H stretchers and back stretchers.
Dimensions: height 38 1/2", wide 22", depth 20", seat height 21"
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are finish losses clearly seen in the detail photos as well as some expected scrapes to the legs and sides of he backs, otherwise very good and presenting very well.
