About the Item
A stunning set of four antique French provincial walnut dining chairs. These were made in France, they date from around the 1860-1880’s.
They are beautifully carved and have a wonderful, elegant design. The original woven rush seats are in excellent order and compliment the frames nicely. The chairs sit on cabriole legs with finely turned stretchers giving them added stability.
The condition is excellent for their age. They are nicely polished with a gorgeous patina, only some extremely minor wear here and there and a couple of very minor historical repairs.
