About the Item
An elegant set of eight Continental 19th century Biedermeier st. Cherrywood and ebonized Fruitwood dining chairs. The set consists of two arm chairs and six side chairs each raised by two beautiful circular tapered legs with fine topie shaped feet at the front and lightly curved square legs at the back. The superb pierced back supports display most decorative pierced palmette designed reserves below inlaid ebonized Fruitwood diamonds with central urns all below the superb turned top rails. The arms on each armchair display an exceptional turned baluster shape. All original patina throughout.
