Set of Six Biedermeier Chairs
An attractive set of six Biedermeier chairs in fruitwood with beautifully made lyre backs in burr ash and cherrywood veneers.
The lyre backs motif originated in classical Greece.
They were probably made in Austria, Germany or Hungary in about 1830.
