Set of Six Josef Hoffmann Style Secessionist Chairs

About the Item

A fantastic set of Josef Hoffmann Vienna Secession style chairs. These chairs feature bentwood construction with attractive simple, clean lines and plenty of negative space. Pierced ladder backs, side stretchers and wide barrel shapes, key design elements of Josef Hoffman style furniture, are present in this set. Striking with glossy black bentwood components offset by seats and backs upholstered in buttery soft yellow, faux elephant skin sueded fabric. Very comfortable. Would work well with retro or modern decor. No maker's marks or labels. Circa 1960. Be sure to view all the images to get a closer look at these unique and fabulous Hoffmann chairs.
