About the Item

This set of six Scandinavian Modern dining chairs were manufactured by the Swedish furniture company Dux circa 1960s. These chairs have also been attributed to the popular Danish-American designer Jens Risom but this set bears no markings. The chairs feature solid walnut frames with sleek lines, classic caned backrest panels accented with newly upholstered seats in a dijon yellow segmented chevron fabric. The chairs are newly refinished and reupholstered. The chairs are newly restored in a deeper rosewood finish that goes well with the Kai Kristiansen dining table shown that is listed separately.
