Set of Six Midcentury German dining chairs, Ernst Moeckel, 1968
So called Z-chair. Designed 1968 in the GDR by Ernst Moeckl (1931) and Siegfried Mehl, German Version of the Panton chair. Also called kangoroo chair or variopur chair. Produced volkseigenen Betrieb (VEB) 'Petrochemisches Kombinat Schwedt' in eastern Germany.
This is a set of six, first edition, lacquered GFK. As found condition, need new finish. Can be re-lacquered in any color by our restorer!

Note: Rare design classic, production was stopped in the late 1970s!
