We are delighted to offer this suite of very good looking and well made, decorative antique French Walnut dining chairs featuring different crustations on the top back of each corner

I have never seen another suite like these before, they are based on a chair that is known as a Henry VIII French walnut dining piece, the design is very popular and quite traditional, the unique thing about this set is each chair has a different crustation carved on the back, there is a turtle, mouse, snail, frog, lizard and lastly a rat, they are incredibly charming and make dining a sense of occasion
The chairs have been recently reupholstered in this red Latin inscribed upholstery which is very decorative
The suite has been sympathetically restored to include a deep clean, hand condition wax and hand polish, one of the creatures had broken off and has been restored, there will be some small losses to the very small carvings, otherwise they are in fine order
