This set includes an extremely rare two seater sofa and two armchairs, which are known as ‘his and her’ chairs. This amazing and desirable matching set is in its original yellow, cream, brown, green, and orange ribbed woolen fabric upholstery, which has been professionally deep cleaned and restored to perfect condition. Complete with stamps and labels. The company's chairs, such as the Encore, Viking, and Simplon, and lounge seating like the Diplomat, Kohinoor, Barbican and Cloud, solidified Howard Keith's status as one of the country's leading furniture designers of the mid 20th century. Royal patrons such as Princess Margaret, celebrities and pop stars such as Elton John, embassies and exclusive hotels, and even the QE2 all took their delivery of Howard Keith furniture during the 60s, 70s and 80s. In the late 20th century, HK expanded into high-end conference tables and executive desks and became renowned for its craftsmanship, quality, and design, winning contracts with major prestigious clients such as RMS QE2, The Bank of England, The Stock Exchange, Barclays Bank, and BP.
