“Kroken” Living Room Set by Ake Fribyter for Nelo – 1974
About the Item
Superb black genuine leather lounge set, consisting of two armchairs and a footstool, designed by Ake Fribyter (1922-1998) and manufactured by the Swedish brand Nelo in the 1970s. They were produced in France by Roche Bobois.
Designed in 1974, the Kraken lounge chairs impress with their supple, shiny leather in perfect condition, and their comfort. Their leather seat is suspended on a reinforced canvas held over a black lacquered bentwood frame. The headrests, cushions, and backrests are fully removable.
A folding footstool accompanies this pair of soft, padded relaxation armchairs.
This timeless design set is an invitation to relax. These comfortable lounge chairs will become the centerpieces of your living room.
