Mid Century Modern Green Danish Lounge Set

About the Item

Danish Mid-Century Modern lounge set designed by Aksel Dahl in the 1960's. Superior solid oak quality and construction in excellent condition with it's original upholstery. This set has been produced in the 70's. This very comfortable set consists of one lounge chair and three elements which can be made into a three-seat couch of 210 cm or 82.677 inches or a two-seat couch of 143 cm or 56.299 inches with a seperate chair besides the two armed lounge chair. Measurements lounge chair : H.82 x W.80 x D.82cm - H.32.283 x W.31.496 x D.32.283 inches. Measurements 3 seater sofa : H.82 x W.210 x D.82 cm - H.32.283 x W.82.677 x D.32.283 inches. Measurements 2 seater sofa : H.82 x W.143 x D.82 cm - H.32.283 x W.56.299 x D.32.283 inches. Measurements 1 seater : H.82 x W.64 x D.82 cm - H.32.283 x W.25.196 xD.32.283 inches. The set will be shipped overseas in custom made wooden crates. Cost of transport to the US crates crates included is euro 2950.

Gorgeous Mid-Century Modern pair of white upholstery and Brazilian Jatoba wood lounge chairs made in São Paulo by Percival Lafer. Both very comfortable chairs are in great condition as can be seen in the images. This beauty will be shipped insured overseas in a custom made wooden crate. Cost of insured transport is crate included. Price of transportation is per chair. Percival Lafer is a contemporary Brazilian furniture maker and pioneer of the Brazilian Modernist movement. He is most famous for his chair and sofa designs, which combine low-profile hardwood structures with plush leather upholstery. “I’ve always been drawn to the motion features of furniture,” he’s said. “The engineering and design work that goes into its mechanisms is fascinating and fulfilling.” Born on April 12, 1936 in Brazil, he studied at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University College of Architecture in São Paulo.
