Rope Twist Napoleon III Style Suite Seating Armchair & Settee Chesterfield Sofa

About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely suite of Napoleon III style early 20th century Rope Twist seating A stunning little suite, the armchairs come up for sale occasionally however I’ve never need a sette or sofa before. The pair are in sublime condition, every piece of the timber is hand carved in the Rope Twist formation, the upholstery is original, Chesterfield buttoned or tufted and nicely patterned We have cleaned waxed and polished the timber from top to bottom, the upholstery is in good order and free from marks Armchair dimensions Height:- 82cm Width:- 73cm Depth:- 67cm Settee dimensions Height:- 83cm Width:- 61.5cm Depth:- 122cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
