This rare and incredible living room set comprised of a three-seat sofa and a loveseat by Guido Faleschini for i4 Mariani is from the 'Tucroma' line distributed by The Pace Collection in the 1970s. The Tucroma dining chairs are one of the hottest designs today for interior designers and collectors alike - the living room seating counterparts to the dining chairs are increasingly rare and sought after so be sure to scoop this set up before someone else does. This 'Tucroma' sofa and loveseat by Guido Faleschini for i4Mariani retains its original tan / beige colored leather upholstery which are attached to graceful chromed steel tubular frames, as well as being bridged together by wide cognac colored leather straps at the back and sides. The color is very dynamic - looking more tan in brighter lighting and more deep beige in darker settings. Incredible condition with soft and supple original leather - ideal for collectors and interior designers. Originally designed in the 1970s, the Tucroma line by Guido Faleschini for Mariani / Pace has been a design staple for interior designers and high-end luxury homeowners and to this day, remain a classic go-to collection for top designers, collectors and architects alike. This sofa and settee are an excellent and rare vintage example of the design.
