About the Item

This is an Eva Hog lounge chair, Model 41, initially designed by Bruno Mathsson for Firma Karl Mathsson in 1941. These particular examples were produced in Sweden in the 1960s. The listed price includes one lounge chair, and we have four available for purchase. These all came from the same estate, which was an extraordinarily well cared for time capsule full of Scandinavian greats in the Rockefeller apartments in Manhattan. Their design features a frame constructed from steam-bent laminated beech, and they have large-scale webbed canvas seats in an off-white. Each chair measures 27 inches deep, 16.5 inches wide, and 32 inches high. It has a seat height of 17.5 inches. There are some scuffs on the legs, and the original webbing shows some marks and small stains. Overall, these chairs are in good condition with light wear. Please see photos. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost. It is at our discretion to refuse the refund of undamaged goods. If an order is placed and you would like to cancel the order, please notify us immediately. Any refunds will be processed via the same means that payment was made.
