This is a beautiful and characterful 1960s Wrought Iron Orangery Lounge Chair with scrolling arms, legs and back rest detail interspersed with hand pressed iron flower details
The chair is made of handwrought iron in its original paintwork which has a natural cracked and patinated finish and upholstered in silk velvet seat pad with hard base, back cushion and arm rests
The chair is attributed to the wonderful metalwork craftsmen of Emporio San Firenze in Italy and the fabric is a striae Antique Cream Velvet from the renowned USA fabric house Scalamandré
A truly stunning classy item for anyone's home, this would work as perfectly as an occasional chair in a drawing room to a luxurious slipper chair in a dressing room
