This exquisite armchair, crafted with a fiberglass base in Italy, embody the post-modern spirit of the 1970s. The frames are made from white fiberglass, a material greatly used during the era for its versatility and ability to inspire bold, unconventional shapes. The design is both bulky and geometric, featuring a robust, trapezoidal body that exudes a striking visual presence. A standout feature are the rounded armrests that are draped over the edges, giving the chair a soft, cushioned appearance despite its substantial form. The seat and backrest are heavily padded, providing comfort while maintaining a blocky, almost sculptural aesthetic. The turquoise-blue upholstery displays a bold, patterned textile with circular, almost mandala-like motifs, typical of the vibrant and experimental textile designs of the 1970s.
