About the Item

Amazing pair of lounge chairs with matching ottomans and beautiful backs, designed by Sonja Wasseur and produced in her own workshop, Holland 1974. This sale contains 2 chairs and 2 ottomans. Sonja Wasseur started designing furniture in 1970, after she'd worked for several furniture makers as a designer, she decided to change paths and make special furniture herself. And she succeeded. She made furniture in very small productions as she was not the person who wanted to design a dozen of chairs. She wanted to renew, improve and inspire. In her work is clearly visible which way she walked trough her designs, what was possible, one idea after another. these 2 chairs have the same sizes, one is with pioow, one without. The ottomans differ in height slightly, something you see more often in her work. Depth: 76 cm x height 73 cm x wide: 81 cm Seating height: 38 cm Ottoman 1: 71,5 cm x 33 cm x 44 cm Ottoman 2: 71,5cm x 30 cm x 44 cm
