Pair of easy chairs, faux leather, fabric, stained wood, brass, Europe, 1930s
These armchairs dating back to the 1930s embrace the stylistic traits of the Art Deco style. With its imposing shapes, this design deserves a prominent place in one's interior. Truly exceptional about this piece are the largely sized armrests with beautiful round contours and adorned with carved wooden elements. The corpus is upholstered in a vibrant fabric characterized by floral motifs interchanged with plain red surfaces. The back is decorated with brass rivets, further accentuating the delicate lines of the chair. The spacious seat, angled backrest, and generous armrests offer exceptional comfort.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item contains threadbare upholstery with tears. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
