About the Item

Bågen (The Arc in English) loung chair in original black lacquered wood. Designed by Sven Engström & Gunnar Myrstrand in 1953 for Nässjö Stolfabrik. A true Swedish design classic. Quite rare these days. It has the shape of a so called Peacock chair with its high rounded backrest. The seat and the backrest has a little bit of ware. The legs have a few stains but over all in a good vintage condition with normal ware from every days use consistent with age and use.
