“Ecco” Easy Chair by Slettvoll in Cognac Leather and Patinated Rattan, Norway, 1970s This rare “Ecco” easy chair from the Korggrupp series by Slettvoll Manilla Furniture, produced in Stranda, Norway during the 1970s, is a stunning example of Scandinavian natural modernism. The chair combines the relaxed elegance of mid-century Norwegian design with warm, organic materials and exquisite craftsmanship. Its frame is composed of bent and steam-shaped rattan, flowing in soft, sculptural curves that form the base and arms in a continuous, seamless motion. The deep, generously proportioned seat features its original cognac aniline leather cushion, beautifully aged and gently worn, with a rich patina that adds depth and texture to the overall presentation.
