About the Item

Exceptional and uber classic example of mid-century chair design. This vibrant, gold upholstery lounge chair has its original fabric and cushion. The fabric has been shampooed and cleaned, and the original webbing has been replaced with new Pirelli brand webbing adding to its exceptional comfort. Often misattributed to Lawrence Peabody and Milo Baughman, this Fairfield Chair Co. chair is a remarkable lounge chair, sporting a solid teak frame and brilliant tufted upholstery with deep button tufting. The frame was cleaned and waxed, but please note there is some wear to the legs where the original finish has worn off. This is expected from a piece of this vintage.
