About the Item

Armchair, faux leather, wood, France, 1940s Charming French armchair with a beautiful shape from the late Art Deco period. This chair features classical detailing, for example the use of decorative brass nails and the elegant shape of this piece. This chair would be a great piece to serve as a comfortable seat in a living room or reading nook. Please note that we advise reupholstery and restoration for this piece. The upholstery shows signs of wear and use and stains. One of the legs of this chair needs to be replaced. Reupholstery and restoration can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
