Sold and priced individually. A 1970s Italian corner chair attributed to Marzio Cecchi. Upholstered in plush, slate-blue velvet, its curved silhouette rests on a geometric white lacquered base. The generous proportions and plush seat invite relaxation, while its bold yet understated design speaks to Cecchi's architectural vision.  Born near Florence in 1940, Marzio Cecchi was immersed in a world of design from an early age. His mother, Giulia Carla Cecchi, was a renowned figure in the fashion world, known for her haute couture creations showcased at Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti in Florence. Marzio pursued architecture and graduated from the University of Florence, becoming a celebrated architect known for his holistic approach. An eclectic and visionary talent, Marzio Cecchi made his mark not only as an architect but also as a designer and artist. Today, his legacy endures through his timeless designs and unique pieces, which remain highly sought after by collectors. Condition: Great vintage condition with light wear to the upholstery. The backrest protrudes slightly through the fabric but does not affect functionality.
