A vintage Javanese Dutch Colonial plantation lounge chair from Madura, Indonesia. Born in Madura off of the northeastern coast of Java, this Dutch Colonial lounge chair is designed to provide a relaxing experience to the sitter. The slanted back is adorned with a pierced back, and connected to two long arms. The rectangular seat, made of slats, is delicately curving, while the ensemble is raised on four straight legs, connected in the front through a side stretcher. With its simple yet elegant Silhouette and lovely patina, this vintage Javanese plantation lounge chair will bring a relaxed presence to any home, perhaps placed on a patio.
