Klaus Uredat Corbi Modular Seating for COR 2 Lounge Chairs

About the Item

Pair of Corbi lounge chairs, designed in 1969 but unveiled at the 1972 Cologne international furniture fair in Germany, Klaus Uredat’s sofa design involves elements that can be rearranged in a wide variety of possible configurations. The two pieces of each seat, themselves sculptural forms, are upholstered in oatmeal corduroy. Its production was limited to the years 1972-1974 and was a small-scale affair, making these a highly collectable example of twentieth century design. Literature: Domus, April 1972 Good vintage condition. Original as found upholstery. Bolster size: 12" round x 25.75" W.
