About the Item
This striking lounge chair was designed by Michel Mortier and produced by the French manufacturer Sièges Steiner in 1963. This particular model named 'Teckel' and is one of the best known designs by Mortier. The square base of this low lounge is in black lacquered oak wood. The upholstered frame with curved armrests and rounded front and backs of the arms. The loose, rectangular cushion placed again the backrest of the frame.
The chair has been upholstered in a black wool fabric. Overall good condition. The original 'Sièges Steiner' label attached on the bottom of the upholstered frame.

Our 350 square meter workspace includes a luminous gallery, a restoration atelier where our expert artisans in metalwork, woodwork, upholstery, and electrics; restore each piece with the mission to honor a balance between restoration and preservation. There may be light age-related wear but no hard damages or structural issues.
Since the launch of our gallery in late 2017, we have exported over 1200 items to buyers in 21 countries located in all four corners of the world from Europe and North America to Asia and Australia. In the United-States alone, we have ensured the delivery of over 150 pieces of all sizes (from massive dining tables to small decorative objects) in 23 states.
We take the utmost attention to our packaging by building robust made to measure boxes in our atelier with the aim of providing safe and cost-effective delivery prices for every client.
