Mid-Century Lounge Chair in Dark Stained Oak in the style of of Viggo Boesen, 19

About the Item

This compact Danish modern lounge chair in dark-stained oak, echoing Viggo Boesen's iconic 1960s style. This chair combines form and function with its modest size, high back, and low seat height, enhanced by armrests for added comfort. Crafted from solid oak, it showcases warm tones and unique grain patterns, suiting various interior styles, while embodying sustainable Scandinavian design. The chair would need to be reupholstered to get back to excellent shape, though it is in good working order and can be used as it is, though the seat springs needs to tighten up a bit and the fabric and foam is used. Lambswool would fit this design very well and can be done for in Danish quality Sheepwool at the best upholsterer in Copenhagen for an additional 1.200EUR. The construction of the chair is perfect condition and completely solid. It is a quite small chair, but really gives you comfort while sitting in it, it does not feel small at all. Good for decorating the living space, since it does not take up much space. This is one of the most comfortable chairs there is on the market, the curved hard back combined with the seat with springs, makes it a very good chair to sit it. Together with the armrest that is perectly fitted to your comfort.
