Since establishment of their design office in 1973 Okamura & Marquard- have been working for a number of Danish, Swedish, Italian, and Japanese manufacturers. Their main field is furniture design. They co-operation with Skipper Furniture in 1981 resulting in a large number of chair and sofa models for both private and public use.
