Pair of lounge chairs, wood and blue upholstery, Europe, 1940s
This fine pair of lounge chairs undoubtedly breathes the late art deco period of the 1940s. The design has a certain theatrical aesthetic with curved armrests flowing slightly outwards. The chairs are sturdy and bulky in their appearance. The large seat and thick upholstery allow the user to have a pleasant and relaxing time while sitting on it. The pair is executed in a beautiful dark blue fabric with vertical white lines.
