Pair of French Reconstruction Armchairs, France 1960s

About the Item

French, sleek, modernist, contemporary, wood, 1960s, mid-century modern Very elegant pair of mid-century reconstruction chairs that were sourced in the south of France, post-war design. The design is reminiscent of René Gabriel and is a typical example of the French reconstruction movement; meaning functional furniture, with simplified lines made of natural elements. Thanks to these principles, the chairs still feel and look very chic. And, in addition to looking beautiful, they are also very comfortable. The armchairs have a solid oak frame and the cushions have been reupholstered in high-quality khaki velvet fabric. The color and texture of the fabric really elevate the overall aesthetic of the chair, making them beautiful from every angle. Check out our Daddy Deco storefront for more midcentury, esthetic and architectural design pieces.
