Hoop Lounge chairs in bent beechwood by Piero Palange & Werther Toffoloni, Italy, 1970s. Unique model G23 lounge chairs, designed by Piero Palange & Werther Toffoloni in new striped Dedar fabric upholstnery and bent beech wooden frame. Produced by Germa in 1972 and became known as the ‘”Hoop” chair. This is a high quality chair, with the steam bent beech frame, beautifully detailing in the design: all the way from the front legs to the rear, and upholstery which was pulled over the frame and laced up on the bottom.
